Abingdon Town Council hosted the Mayor’s Christmas Party for residents aged 70 and over at the Hilton Garden Inn. The event was very well attended and was introduced by the Mayor, Cllr Gwyneth Lewis.
Guests were regaled by MC Duncan Bhaskaran-Brown and enjoyed a range of activities including a performance of a traditional Christmas Mummers’ Play.
The town council would like to thank the Hilton Garden Inn, Abingdon for once again providing the venue and afternoon tea for free.
The event was supported by Christ’s Hospital, who made a generous donation towards the cost of hosting.
