New Town Councillor – Abingdon on Thames Town Council

Following the by-election for the ward of Fitzharris Ock, the Liberal Democrat candidate Rawda Jehanli has been elected to the Council. The result may be accessed here (link to https://www.abingdon.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Fitzharris-Ock-Ward-Abingdon-2021.pdf)

Rawda is welcomed to the council and will serve until the next town elections in May 2023.

The by-election was for the vacancy which occurred following the death of Jeanette Halliday in April 2020 and was delayed by the pandemic.
