Oxfordshire County Council CONSULTATION – Centre East area (Abingdon) Proposed Parking Restrictions
Oxfordshire County Council is seeking views on the proposals to introduce new ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ (Double yellow lines) parking restrictions, which are proposed on parts of the following roads by extending existing restrictions and/or adding new: Audlett Drive, Jackman Close, Magnette Close, Penlon Place, Quakers Court, and Radley Road. The proposals are being put forward following the conclusion of an informal consultation with residents carried out in November 2024 – Officers have since worked with local County Councillors to develop proposals for various roads in Abingdon to address issues arising from obstructive parking on currently unrestricted sections of the highway.
The proposed Traffic Regulation Orders are scheduled to be advertised in the Oxfordshire Herald Series newspaper today; Wednesday 12th November 2025, and details are also available to view on the Councils consultation portal at the following link:
As stated on the notice, any objections or other representations on the proposals should be submitted by Friday 12th December 2025.
