What is it like contacting your GP surgery?
Healthwatch Oxfordshire has launched a new survey asking people what it is like to contact their GP surgery.
The county’s independent health and social care watchdog wants to hear people’s experiences of contacting their surgery, including:
- What happened when you called?
- How long were you waiting before you spoke to somebody?
- Did you get the information or service you called for?
People are asked to share their views by completing this online survey www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/ContactingyourGPsurgery/
The survey is anonymous and should only take a few minutes to complete. It will be open until Friday 22nd October.
Rosalind Pearce, the Executive Director of Healthwatch Oxfordshire, said: “If you’ve been in touch with your surgery recently, please do take a few minutes to let us know what this was like – good or bad.
“We will pass on what you tell us to local health decision-makers so it is crucial that we hear from as many people so we can present an accurate picture of what is happening and what needs to be improved.”
If you would like help completing the survey or would prefer to talk to someone about your experiences, you can contact Healthwatch Oxfordshire on 01865 520520 or at hello@healthwatchoxfordshire.co.uk. Please also get in touch if you would like a paper copy or a translated version of the survey to be sent out to you.
