Cycling Festival Success

Lots of lycra in the Market Place as Freewheeling Cycle Festival go-ers gathered for their annual celebration of all things cycling on Sunday. Super-keen 50 milers rubbed bike tyres with beginners and family cyclists trying out the 10 mile easy ride. Local bike shops, Pedal Power, Outdoor Traders and Behind Bars were all there showing the enthusiasts their ranges and supporting the event.

The Freewheeling Group who organise the annual event were delighted with the numbers of riders turning up for every ride length, with several groups going out one after another on most rides.

It’s an event that has grown and grown and in it’s third year is showing the most success yet.
