Accessibility Audit

The Town Council will be carrying out an Accessibility Audit on all its services and events over the coming months and we would like your opinions and views.

The Town Council are responsible, in some cases with commercial or voluntary partners, for a number of areas and Events in the Town including:

Areas include: Abingdon Museum, The Guildhall, Cemeteries, Allotments, Abingdon Market Place, A section of the Ock Valley Walk, and The following recreation and play areas: Caldecott recreation Ground, Boxhill Recreation Ground and Wood, Chilton Close Play Area, Elizabeth Avenue Play Area, Hill View Play Area, Chaunterell way Play Area, Masefield Crescent Play Area, River Close Play area, Margaret Brown Gardens.

Events include Fun and Music in the Park, Bun Throwing ceremonies, Remembrance Day and Markets.

We would find it very helpful at this stage to receive any ideas and suggestions you may have regarding accessibility for these services to enquiries@abingdon.gov.uk for consideration. This will help us with our way forward on this.  it would be helpful if you could let us have your thoughts by 31 October 2021.
