Community Grants Scheme

This is a reminder that Abingdon Town Council have a community grant scheme in place with a budget of £18,000 available for grants for the financial year commencing 1st April 2018 and applications may now be made for funding.

Last year grants were awarded from the Community Grants scheme to 23 different organisations.

Grant applications are considered by the Community Services Committee at its meetings, which take place four times each year. The next meeting takes place 11th December 2018 with a deadline for applications 20th November.

Grants available from other town and parish councils: Grants awarded by the Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council must benefit the town or its residents. If your project benefits the town and/ or its residents but also benefits other parishes or people from outside of Abingdon then you may also wish to apply for grant funds from other parishes. Not all parishes have funds available and, like Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council, they will need to see that your project benefits the parish and/ or its residents.
