Cavaliers here for Heritage Weekend

This weekend is Heritage Open Doors Weekend, a great opportunity to get inside some of the intriguing buildings of Abingdon-on-Thames. The organisers will be in the Market Place Saturday and Sunday mornings with information leaflets and maps. As well as the return of the fantastic Retro Fair at the Guildhall there will be heritage walks, pike drill by the Cavalier soldiers, boat trips, the unveiling of new information boards for St Helens and wonderful old photos of the town in the community shop – lots to do over this weekend in the oldest continuously inhabited town in the country!
