Climate Conversations: Land and Nature
A monthly 1hr drop in session for anyone to come into the café and have a chat about the climate and other environmental issues over a cuppa.
The aim is to foster an open dialogue and two-way exchange of ideas, insights, knowledge, actions and feelings toward environmental issues, to ultimately become more informed about actions that can be taken to live in accordance with the principles of sustainable living.
In this session we will explore land and nature, the 4th principle of One Planet Living, and heavily interlinked with zero carbon energy, the topic at our last climate conversation.
The land system and nature are fundamental in the mitigation and adaptation to climate change, but they are under intense pressure from humans.
How can we best conserve nature and promote its recovery?
What can you do to help promote, conserve and respect the land and the nature that lives on and within it?
No prior knowledge or expertise is needed for being a participant in our climate conversations. We only ask that you come with an open mind and an appetite to learn from others!
