Pedestrian bridge over River Ock – now open!
Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council are pleased to confirm that the new bridge leading from St Helen’s Court into the Ock Valley Walk has recently been installed and the Ock Valley Walk is now open to the public again.
In accordance with the Town Council’s drive to be environmentally friendly the new bridge is made out of recycled plastic. This also means that its construction is much more sturdy than the previous old wooden bridge.
We are pleased the Ock Valley Walk is open for the spring and hopefully the weather will now improve too!
