Heritage Weekend starts here!
The first of the talks around the Victorian-themed Heritage Weekend have begun and there is plenty more to follow.
Friday night’s talk is about Albert Park which celebrates a centenary this year. For more information go to the event on our calendar by clicking here.
On Saturday the re-enactment of life on the streets of Victorian Britain takes place in and around the Market Place and there are also, as always, many properties open for you to visit including ones that are closed to the public normally.
Pick up a leaflet from the Information Centre which has now been relocated within the Guildhall so that access is now from the Roysse Court side of the building, on Bridge Street. More information on the Heritage Weekend page in the town calendar.
