Elections 2015
On Thursday 7th May people over the age of 18 will be able to vote in parliamentary, district council and town/parish council elections. Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council is included in these but it is important to note that the body responsible for all these elections is the Vale of White Horse District Council. There is advice for voters, candidates and all those interested in the elections on their Elections webpages which can be reached by clicking here
Please check our events calendar for hustings organised by local groups. Once the election results for the Town Council are known, which is likely to be on Saturday 10th May, the details of the new councillors will be published on this website and also in the Town Crier magazine. The new Council and the new Mayor will officially start their term of office at the Annual General Meeting and Mayor Making on 13th May at the Guildhall.
