Mouse Hole Cafe receives 5 Star award
The Mouse Hole Café in the Basement of Abingdon Museum has this week received a 5 star award for taking steps to avoid plastic waste and pollution.
The Certificate was presented to the café manager, Emma Rose by the Mayor of Abingdon, Cllr Jan Morter, on behalf of the Abingdon Cuts Plastic! Campaign, part of Abingdon Carbon Cutters.
Three excellent things which the Mouse Hole café do are:
1. Sell reusable Ecoffee cups, made from bamboo.
2. Give a 10% price reduction for customers who bring their own cups to be filled.
3. Use recyclable cardboard takeaway cups.
The café opening times are 10am – 2pm Tues to Fri and 10am – 4pm Saturdays.
