Know your deadlines – don’t miss out
Here are all the deadlines you need to be aware of:
- Registering to vote – midnight on Monday 22 May
- Applying to vote by post – 5pm on Tuesday 23 May
- Applying for somebody to vote on your behalf – 5pm on Wednesday 31 May

Postal votes
If you’re registered to vote by post, you should receive your postal vote pack by 24 May. If you don’t receive it by that date, call us urgently on 01235 422528.
If you would like to vote by post, visit our website here and fill in a postal vote application form – your applicaiton form needs to reach us before 5pm on Tuesday 23 May
Once you’ve received your postal vote pack, fill it in and return it as soon as possible. If you forget, you can take your completed postal vote pack into any polling station in the Vale of White Horse district on polling day between 7am and 10pm.
